Parent Connection will be open every Monday from 2:30 until 5:30 for students that need help with school work. Parent Connection is located in the computer lab in room 115.

 

If you have registered for the February 9th ACT and need help uploading your photo please see Mrs. Wentworth. Your photo must be uploaded by February 4th.

 

There are still a few spots available for the senior "Grad Bash" trip. If interested in going you may pay your $50.00 deposit in the front office. The total of the trip is 150.00 and must be paid by in full by March 22nd.

 

You may now sign up in the clinic for the upcoming blood drive to be held on February 11th.  Please see Mrs. Jami in the clinic to sign up.  Last day to sign up will be February 8th.  You must sign up to get a pass to get out of class for blood donation. 

 

Those seniors who are going into the teaching field need to turn in their Florida Retired Educators Foundation Scholarship applications to Guidance. Today is the deadline.

 

Student Council will be doing a fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) running through Friday,

February 15th 2013. SC members are selling Green Shamrocks for $1, and the Gold Shamrocks are $5.

Please see a SC member to purchase a Shamrock to support MDA.

Mrs. Harvey will be here on Monday, February 4th for those students wanting assistance on the upcoming ACT. She will be located in the computer lab (room 115) from 2:30 until 3:30.

 

Seniors, Today there will be Florida Financial Aid Application help sessions each period in the Media center. Come during an elective class.  ALL seniors need to complete this in order to be eligible to receive Bright Futures or other financial aid like First Generation grant money.

 

Juniors and Seniors, do you want help with how to pay for college?  Then make plans for you and your parents to attend a "How to Pay for College" meeting for both seniors and juniors on Tuesday, February 12 at 5:30 in the Media Center. 

 

The ASVAB test will be given on March 5.  Anyone interested in joining the military or just want to learn more about their aptitudes, need to sign up in Guidance.  Space is limited, so sign up now.

 

ALL Superlative, Last Minute Sports, and Clubs/Organization pictures will be taken in the gym next Thursday

 (February 7th).  Be on the lookout for posted schedules.
